Join Our Team as a Direct Support Professional

We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Direct Support Professional in Hillsboro, MO, US. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Provide emotional support and engage residents in social activities for their mental well-being.
  • Monitor and document residents' health status, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or direct support role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of geriatric care practices and understanding of aging-related issues.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.
