Job Description

As a Caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their daily living activities. You will provide direct care, including personal hygiene assistance, medication reminders, meal preparation, and companionship. Other duties may include:

  • Monitoring and reporting changes in resident's health and behavior
  • Assisting with mobility and transportation needs
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment
  • Building positive relationships with residents and their families
  • Participating in recreational activities and programs

Requirements

To be considered for the Caregiver position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Compassion and empathy towards the elderly
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
