About the Role

As a Caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health and behavior
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Ensuring a clean and safe living environment for residents
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Previous caregiving experience, ideally in a long-term care facility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Empathy and compassion for the elderly
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus
