As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Creating and implementing personalized care plans to meet the individual needs of each resident.
  • Engaging residents in social and recreational activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health status and reporting any changes to the nursing team.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.

Requirements

To excel in this role, the following qualifications are necessary:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and empathy for the elderly.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
