Job Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and document changes in residents' condition, reporting any concerns to the nursing staff
  • Support seniors in maintaining a clean and safe living space
  • Engage residents in meaningful social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Administer medication and assist with medication management, following established protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Ensure residents' rights and choices are respected at all times

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Direct Support Caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, candidates must meet the following requirements:
