Job Description

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in helping children with physical disabilities or injuries achieve maximum functional independence and improve their quality of life. Your work will involve evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans tailored to meet each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and diagnose children with physical disabilities and mobility challenges
  • Create individualized treatment plans targeting specific areas of concern
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, exercises, and modalities to improve motor skills
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists
  • Provide education and support to children and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

  • Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Dakota
  • Specialization or experience in pediatric physical therapy
  • Strong knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
