Job Description

As a Group Home Caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with their daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Helping with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
  • Administering medications and monitoring residents' health conditions.
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Engaging residents in social and recreational activities.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Documenting residents' progress and reporting any changes in their condition.

Requirements

To be considered for the Group Home Caregiver position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong passion for working with older adults and providing compassionate care.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to protocols.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move residents when necessary.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
