About the Role

As a Cognitive Retraining Specialist at Kimwell Nursing Home, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement personalized cognitive rehabilitation programs for our residents. You will assess their cognitive abilities, set realistic goals, and guide them through a structured retraining plan. Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and psychologists, to ensure integrated care and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate residents' cognitive abilities using standardized assessments
  • Create personalized cognitive retraining plans based on individual needs and goals
  • Implement and monitor progress of cognitive rehabilitation programs
